The Rise of RG3

This year in the NFL has been one for the ages and I can't help but point out one of the main things that stand out about it.  The quarterback class that was drafted earlier this year in April has been one for the ages and his being compared a lot to that of the 2004 Draft that featured Eli Manning who went 1st overall, Philip Rivers who went 5th, and Ben Roethlisberger who went 11th overall.  Between those three quarterbacks, there are four Super Bowl victories.  With that being such a great class, the 2012 draft class is proving to be a good one for the ages as well. This draft class featured Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, Ryan Tannehill, Brandon Weeden, and Russell Wilson.  Although there is a lot of hype and praise for the first overall pick Andrew Luck, I can't help but point out how well RG3 is playing as well. After losing three games straight, it looked like the season was pretty much over for the Redskins, however since then, the Redskins have won three straight and are looking to make if four against the Baltimore Ravens this Sunday.  Through twelve games this season, RG3 has passed for 2,660 yards and thrown 17 touchdowns and only 4 interceptions. He has also rushed for 714 yards and 6 touchdowns.  So in my opinion I think RG3 is having a phenomenal year and I can't wait to see what else he will do with the rest of the season.
