On Tuesday, December 5, 2012, Kobe Bryant hit over 30,000 points for his career. This made him the fifth player in NBA history to reach this feat next to Wilt Chamberlain, Karl Malone, Kareem Abdul-Jabber, and Michael Jordan. He also became the youngest to reach this feat at age 34. While I'm not the biggest fan of Kobe Bryant, I will say that this feat is an amazing accomplishment added onto the 5 NBA championships he's won and the MVP award he earned in 2008. Many are ready to see if Kobe and the Lakers can pull it out and make some sort of run at getting Kobe a sixth championship. While the feat isn't impossible, they face many challenges along the way and it will be interesting to see what Kobe and the Lakers will do now.
